AdvaMed works for responsible legislation to address industry concerns on Capitol Hill and for appropriate administrative policies affecting the industry in agencies such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) by using all the tools of modern political advocacy. Additionally AdvaMed has developed an industry Code of Ethics designed to draw a clear line of what is appropriate interaction between member company representatives and health care professionals.
