Peter J. Arduini is President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GE HealthCare, an $18 billion leading global medical technology, pharmaceutical diagnostics, and digital solutions innovator. At GE HealthCare, Peter leads an organization of 50,000 colleagues dedicated to providing integrated solutions, services and data analytics that make hospitals more efficient, clinicians more effective, therapies more precise, and patients healthier and happier.
Early in his career, Peter spent 15 years with GE HealthCare in a variety of senior leadership roles for domestic and global businesses, including general manager for the global Imaging business. Peter returned to GE HealthCare in 2022 after nearly 16 years in roles of increasing responsibility at other companies.
Since 2012, Peter was President and CEO of Integra LifeSciences, a medical device company specializing in skin regeneration, neurosurgery, reconstructive and general surgery. He joined Integra in 2010 as president and chief operating officer.
Before joining Integra, Peter was corporate vice president and president of Medication Delivery, Baxter Healthcare. He was responsible for a $4.8 billion global division of Baxter focused on inpatient pharmaceuticals and devices. He began his career in sales and marketing at Procter and Gamble before his first tour at GE HealthCare.
Peter serves on several boards, including GE HealthCare, the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), the Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, and the National Italian American Foundation.
Peter received his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Susquehanna University and an MBA in management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Dr. Ami Bhatt, MD, FACC is the chief innovation officer (CIO) at the American College of Cardiology. She is a national leader in creating the AI-enabled clinician, collaborating with technology companies to ensure equitable implementation and scale of high-quality cost-effective systems, and recommending transformational healthcare companies for investment. Dr. Bhatt has 20 years of experience as a clinician, investigator and educator with over a decade of experience in telemedicine and digital health. She was previously an Associate Professor in Medicine at the Harvard Medical School and served as Director of Outpatient Cardiology, TeleCardiology, and Adult Congenital Heart Disease at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Bhatt co-designed the MGH Elevate Leadership Program, focused on fostering agility, communication, and creativity to develop the next generation of impactful leaders in medicine. Most recently, she was appointed as the inaugural Chair of the FDA Digital Health Advisory Committee. She led the first meeting in November 2024 on Generative AI focused on establishing a US regulatory framework that fosters a proactive infrastructure for generative AI in healthcare while maintaining robust safeguards. She also presented on AI and Healthcare during the World Economic Forum meetings in Davos.
Roberto Canessa shocked the world in December 1972 when, at the age of 19, he and Fernando Parrado arrived in Chile after surviving a horrific Uruguayan Air Force plane crash and then hiking across the Andes mountains for ten days at an altitude of 16,404 feet and temperatures of twenty-two degrees below zero. Canessa and Parrado guided a rescue party back to their fourteen friends who were still trapped on the mountain two months after the initial search for them had been called off. Dr. Canessa went on to become a pediatric cardiologist, world-renowned for his work with newborn patients and prenatal echocardiography at the Hospital Italiano of Montevideo. He has been awarded three times with the National Prize of Medicine. Dr. Canessa is married with three children, and his greatest joy at the moment is to be a grandfather.
Kevin Lobo has been CEO of Stryker since October 1, 2012, and also assumed the role of Chair of the Board on July 22, 2014. He joined Stryker in 2011 and had previously been Group President of Orthopaedics.
Kevin serves on the Board of Directors for Parker Hannifin (NYSE:PH) and the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed). He is also a member of the Business Council.
Kevin has a broad business career across multiple industries. After holding finance positions with KPMG, Unilever and Kraft Canada, he spent eight years with Rhone-Poulenc, including leadership roles based in Europe. He then spent eight years at Johnson & Johnson, including as President of Ethicon Endo Surgery.
Stephen P. MacMilan was named President and CEO of Hologic, the global leader in Women’s Health, in December 2013 and appointed Chairman in June 2015. Under his leadership at Hologic, the company has more than doubled in revenue. From 2005 to 2012, he served as President and CEO of Stryker. While at Stryker, revenues tripled from $2.8 billion to $8.3 billion. Prior to 2003, he was a senior executive with Pharmacia, overseeing five global businesses with revenues exceeding $2 billion. He spent 11 years with Johnson & Johnson in senior roles in the US and Europe, including President of the J&J-Merck joint venture. His career began in 1985 with Procter & Gamble. He received a B.A. in Economics from Davidson College and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Illumina and sits on the board of directors of AdvaMed.
Geoff Martha is Chairman and CEO of Medtronic, a global leader in healthcare technology. Under his leadership, 95,000 Medtronic employees deliver transformative medical innovations to alleviate pain, restore health and extend life for 78 million patients annually.
A driven and innovative executive, Geoff was named CEO in April of 2020 after joining Medtronic in 2011 and holding various enterprise-level leadership roles in strategy, corporate development and oversight of a group of business units. Previously, he spent nearly two decades in a variety of business development and leadership roles at GE Healthcare and GE Capital.
Geoff is passionate about the intersection of healthcare and technology. He actively participates in global business organizations, including the Business Roundtable, the World Economic Forum’s International Business Council, and the U.S.-China Business Council. He also serves as Treasurer of AdvaMed and Chairman of the Minnesota Business Partnership. He is on the board of NextEra Energy, a Trustee for the Asia Society, and on several non-profit boards including the Medtronic Foundation, the Northside Achievement Zone (NAZ), and YMCA of the North. Geoff holds a finance degree from Penn State University.
Michael Minogue is the President and CEO of Minogue Consulting, LLC, and Heartwork Capital, with over 30 years of industry experience leading with a “Patients First” and “Dream Big, Execute Bigger” mindset. As Chairman, President, and CEO of Abiomed, Inc. for nearly 19 years, he spearheaded the development of Impella®, the world’s smallest heart pumps, and led the company to unprecedented growth and innovation. Under his leadership, Abiomed treated over 250,000 patients, grew revenue from $25M to $1.2B, and achieved the largest all-cash acquisition in MedTech history by Johnson & Johnson. Prior to Abiomed, he spent 11 years at GE Healthcare and served as an Infantry officer in the U.S. Army, earning a Bronze Star in Desert Storm. Michael currently serves on multiple corporate and nonprofit boards, including MedTechVets, which he co-founded to support veterans transitioning into the medtech industry. He holds a B.S. in Engineering Management from West Point and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
General Paul M. Nakasone is a retired four-star Army General and the longest-serving leader of U.S. Cyber Command and the National Security Agency/Central Security Service. A visionary in cybersecurity, technology, and geopolitics, he played a pivotal role in shaping national defense strategies against evolving cyber threats. Over a career spanning more than three decades, he spearheaded responses to major security crises, led elite cyber forces, and championed innovation in digital warfare. As a key architect of U.S. Cyber Command, he redefined cyber defense strategies, fostering global partnerships and strengthening national security. His leadership has been recognized with numerous military honors, including the Distinguished Service Medal and the Bronze Star. General Nakasone remains a passionate advocate for cybersecurity, leadership, and talent development in the digital age.
Kevin O’Leary, Star of ABC’s ‘Shark Tank,’ Top Business Speaker, Serial Entrepreneur, Venture Capitalist and Investor, Featured in Harvard Business Review Case Study in 2023
Famous as “Mr. Wonderful” on ABC’s multi-award-winning Shark Tank, Kevin O’Leary is a serial entrepreneur, respected investor, and bestselling author. A frequent guest on CNBC, Fox Business, and CNN, he is a go-to expert on business topics and financial markets. O’Leary is the founder of O’Leary Financial Group; Chairman of O’Leary Ventures, Beanstox, and O’Shares Investments; and a Strategic Investor in WonderFi. A self-made multi-millionaire who has launched and invested in more than 80 companies in the U.S. and his native Canada, O’Leary is passionate about helping people from all walks of life gain the freedom that comes from achieving their financial and entrepreneurial dreams.
Michael R. Pompeo served as the 70th Secretary of State of the United States and Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, following four terms in Congress representing Kansas’ Fourth District. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, he served as a cavalry officer patrolling the Iron Curtain before earning his law degree from Harvard. Pompeo later led two manufacturing businesses in South Central Kansas before entering politics in 2010. As Secretary of State, he shaped U.S. foreign policy with an “America First” approach, strengthening alliances and advancing energy independence. His leadership played a key role in the Abraham Accords and historic human rights initiatives. Pompeo is a New York Times bestselling author and remains an advocate for American values.
Gina M. Raimondo, the 40th U.S. Secretary of Commerce, is committed to making America more competitive by spurring good-paying jobs, empowering entrepreneurs to innovate and grow, and advancing our economic and national security. Under her leadership, the Department of Commerce made historic investments in Internet access, manufacturing, economic development, workforce training, supply chain resiliency, and climate readiness through the implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the CHIPS and Science Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act. Recognized as one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People and a 2024 CNBC Changemaker, Secretary Raimondo has also taken a leading role in ensuring the responsible development of artificial intelligence.
Ivan Tornos was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Zimmer Biomet in August 2023. Mr. Tornos joined Zimmer Biomet in November 2018 as Group President, Orthopedics, and a year later was named Group President, Global Businesses and the Americas. He was appointed as Chief Operating Officer in March 2021 with responsibility for overseeing all global businesses at Zimmer Biomet, as well as leading the global operations, clinical and medical education and global R&D and New Product Development functions. In this role, he had oversight of the Americas and the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions.
Prior to joining Zimmer Biomet, Mr. Tornos served as Worldwide President of the Global Urology, Medical and Critical Care Division of Becton, Dickinson and Company. Prior to that, he was with C.R. Bard in positions of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as President, Europe, Middle East and Africa Regions. Before joining C.R. Bard, Mr. Tornos served as Vice President and General Manager of the Americas Pharmaceutical and Medical/Imaging segments of Covidien. Before that, Mr. Tornos served as International Vice President, Business Development and Strategy with Baxter International Inc. and prior to that, he spent over a decade in leadership assignments around the globe with Johnson & Johnson.
Mr. Tornos is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School, having graduated from the Advanced Management Program and also completed leadership programs at the Cox School of Business of Southern Methodist University. He finalized post-MBA work at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (CPD Marketing/Finance), holds an MBA from the University of Miami School of Business and a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia Terry College of Business. Mr. Tornos currently serves as an independent member of the Board of Directors of PHC Holdings.

Summit Policies
Registration Cancellations
All Cancellations must be submitted by January 20, 2025 to be eligible for a refund less a 25% administrative fee. No refunds will be available after January 20, 2025.

Registration Substitutions
Registrations may not be transferred as the AdvaMed CEO Summit is an invitation only event.
Guest Registration
Spouses/Companions wishing to participate in networking events and activities must purchase an individual registration badge.
Hotel Cancellation Policy
The 2025 CEO Summit hotel requires a room deposit equaling the one room night room and tax, which may be charged to the credit card as early as Monday, February 3, 2025. No refunds will be available for no-shows, changes or cancellations made after this date. Changes to your dates after this date will incur a $100 penalty.
Force Majeure
In case the premises for the event is destroyed by Acts of God, fire, the elements or by any cause, or in case of government intervention or regulation, military activity, terrorism, civil disturbance, strikes, labor disputes, or any other circumstances make it impossible or inadvisable to hold the event at the time and place provided, the attendee waives any claim for damages or compensation, except the pro rata return of the amount paid for admission, after deduction of actual expenses incurred in connection with the exhibition and there shall be no further liability on the part of either party. In no event shall AdvaMed, its officers, directors, trustees, or agents be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential damages resulting from the failure to hold the event.
Photo and Video Policy
Attendees are permitted to use hand-held cameras to take photographs, capture digital images, and videotape within public areas of the event for personal, non-commercial use. Public areas include the exhibit hall; session rooms; press rooms; hotel lobby areas; and hallways.
Large cameras, photo or video equipment, or ancillary equipment such as lighting, tripods, cables, etc. are prohibited (except in instances where approval from AdvaMed event management is obtained).
All photographers and videographers are prohibited from entering, photographing, or videotaping non-public areas of the event. Non-public areas include storage areas; speaker ready rooms; staff offices; and dedicated meeting rooms.
All photographers and videographers are prohibited from impeding attendee traffic flow, blocking doors, stairs, elevators and escalators, and affecting the safety of attendees. All photographers and videographers must fully and immediately comply with any requests, directions, or instructions of AdvaMed event management related to safety concerns. All photographers and videographers must obtain exhibitor approval before capturing images within an exhibitor’s booth space.
While attending the event, all photographers and videographers must comply with all applicable rules, including but not limited to, this policy, all applicable laws, ordinances, municipal regulations, standard operating procedures and administrative procedures. AdvaMed event management may evaluate the actions of a photographer or a videographer, and if a determination is made that the actions of a photographer or videographer are not in compliance with any applicable rule, AdvaMed event management may terminate the permission granted by this policy.

Golf Tournament
Join us on Monday, March 3 for the CEO Summit Shotgun Golf Tournament. The tournament fee covers Golf Greens fees, practice balls, golf-cart, prize pool, continental breakfast, post-round lunch, and awards. Prizes awarded for Longest Drive, Closest to the pin, Low gross, Low Team/ Foursome (net). Breakfast begins at 7:15 AM with the Tournament starting at 8:00 AM. Rental clubs are available at $185 a set. The Golf Tournament can be added to a full CEO Summit registration or purchased individually.

Historic Palm Beach Bike Tour
Enjoy a leisurely 7-mile bike ride around Old Palm Beach, retracing the Old Lake Trail towards the northern tip of the island and pass under a cooling canopy of native and exotic and manicured flora of every hue on Monday morning. Space is limited, register to guarantee your spot!

Kayaking Coastline Curiosities & Peanut Island Adventure
Peanut Island is a unique park in Palm Beach County that was originally named after a peanut oil operation that never came to fruition. The island is home to a historic Coast Guard station, boathouse, and John F. Kennedy bunker, which was built in 1961 in honor of the 35th president. The island and its surrounding waters are also home to a variety of native flora and fauna. Visitors can explore the winding mangrove waterway trails and clear intercoastal waters that are teeming with marine life. The sandy shores surrounding the island are home to a diverse range of wildlife, including blue herons, manatees, and starfish.
