The Medtech Conference 2021 Wraps After Successful Hybrid Agenda Brings Medtech Entrepreneurs, Leaders, to D.C., Minneapolis

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Medtech Conference, the Advanced Medical Technology Association’s (AdvaMed) premier annual gathering, wrapped up Thursday following four days of networking opportunities, presentations and panel discussions on the top issues facing the medical technology industry and health care. The hybrid event, which took place in Washington, D.C., Minneapolis, Minn., and online, attracted nearly 1,500 attendees from 40 countries.

“Over the course of the pandemic, medtech manufacturers stepped up and played an outsized role in protecting and saving the lives of millions of people, making our first in-person conference in two years all the more important as we sought to amplify the coordination and united efforts that have gone into the global fight against the coronavirus,” said Scott Whitaker, AdvaMed CEO and President. “This year’s Conference exceeded all of our expectations. We were thrilled to get the industry’s top leaders and minds together after being apart for so long.”

Powered by AdvaMed, the Conference gathers the world’s top medtech executives and innovators to network, conduct business, gain access to investors, and share insights in an engaging environment. With nearly 90 sessions featuring more than 250 speakers, the Conference brought together medtech professionals from 40 countries to engage on the important issues facing the medtech industry, including addressing health disparities, responding to COVID-19, and navigating the FDA.
